"Soloman"

Sonnenblick says that his character Sol is based on his maternal grandpa. If you were going to write a novel, what relative would you use as a character and why? What characteristics would you include?

It would depend on what the novel is about, and what type of character is needed at the time, but generally I think that a member of my family that would make a good character in a novel would be my paternal grandma. As a character, I would include her total stubbornness and complete disregard for any rule. While being fun and kind, she hated the idea of anyone being able to tell her what to do. She'd make a great character in a novel.

If i were to write a novel a character I would include would be my maternal step great grandmother. Despite her age of 94 she still has lots of energy and owns and manages a store. She is also full of adventure, she keeps a shotgun under the counter of her store and has managed to keep two robbers at bay until the cops showed up. That is why I would choose her as a character for a novel that I would write
