"The Wake-up"
At the end of chapter 2, the reader has met Alex's mom and dad. If you could describe his mom with only one word and his dad with only one word, what word would you use for each? Why?

If I could describe Alex's mom and dad I would say worried and selfish. For Alex's mom, she is worried for him because he is in a hospital with alcohol posion and a concussion.For his dad he is selfish.He did not think how the divorce would affect alex and his mom.
Both of Alex's parents are interesting characters. Alex's Mom, if described with only one word, would be in my opinion frusterated. She is frusterated with the misbehavior of her son, and the divorce with her husband. His father, on the other hand, would be described as defiant. While frustrated with his sons actions as well, he is determined to prove that the situation was his wife's fault, not his. He seems to want to prove that she is the worse parent.
One word I would use to describe Alexs mom would be careing. I know that she was really mad at Alex for drunk driving, ans she was fighting with Alex's dad but she was very careing and sad when she was siing in the hospital crting over Alex. For Alex's dad i would say he's probley ovewerlmed. I tinnk he might be overwelmed because he just had a divorce, and his son just got BUSTED for DRUNK DRIVING!
The word i would use to describe Alex's mom would be sad. From what i read his mother is very sad because she has to take care of Alex on her own,while trying to move on with her life after the divorce. The word i would use to describe Alex's dad would be insenseitive. The story goes about him dating his son's teacher and then just seemingly cuts Alex out of his life. Which was one of the reasons Alex got drunk and drived in the first place. That is also why his dad started to fight with his ex-wife. Thought the father in all fareness did give Alex a lecture.
I would use caring for his mom because even though she in a little mean sometimes she dose care about Alex. I would discribe his dad with nonchalant because he dosent care that much about what happened to Alex.
